Albertsons - Phoenix, Arizona
Challenge: The Albertsons Phoenix facility had a challenge of reducing their energy costs to avoid the large demand charges obtained throughout the year. With the weather typically warm throughout the year, it was important to reduce the energy bill without sacrificing product integrity.

Meijer, Inc. - Lansing, Michigan
Challenge: Meijer has a refrigerated warehouse that is on the same utility meter as one of their dry warehouses. Spikes in energy use were occurring at anytime throughout the day while the refrigeration system was operating. This resulted in high demand charges during the On Peak time of the day and excessive kWh usage throughout the day. Also, with 21 individual penthouse units, each with electric defrost, Meijer found these units running independently of each other thus contributing to the high demand charges.

Albertsons - Brea, California
Challenge: With three tiered summertime demand charges, Albertsons was paying significant money on energy. They also had very little coordination of their refrigeration equipment and no compressor communication which was allowing equipment to run unnecessarily and at the wrong times.

SuperValu - Kenosha, Wisconsin
Challenge: SuperValu needed to automate their refrigeration and save money on their electric bill. They had no existing controls in place and they had a limited staff to run their system manually.

Meijer, Inc. - Newport, Michigan
Challenge: With competition increasing at their retail stores, Meijer was looking for ways to cut costs throughout the organization. With significant money being spent on energy, especially at its refrigerated distribution centers, Meijer needed to find a way to reduce electric usage so their retail stores can remain competitive.

Total Logistics Control - Zeeland, Michigan
Challenge: Total Logistics Control (TLC) was faced with 8 plants in the midwest that were using significant money on electricity. With all plants being different in their product and process, they needed a controls group to custom make refrigeration controls to meet each plant's needs.

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. - Westfield, Wisconsin
Challenge: Since their business continues to grow, Brakebush decided to expand its existing facility. For the expanded area, they wanted a state of the art refrigeration controls system but also wanted to understand the programming so they could make their own programming changes when needed.

Americold Logistics, Inc. - Atlanta, Georgia
Challenge: With over 100 plants around the country, Americold is faced with significant energy costs from plants that have either no controls or have very limited refrigeration controls. With so many plants, coordination of single plant use along with multiple plants was very difficult. Americold needed to reduce their energy costs, upgrade purchased facilities, and monitor control over numerous plants.

Alsum Produce, Inc. - Friesland, Wisconsin
Challenge: Faced with rebuilding their facility after a fire in 2002, Alsum's rebuilt and expanded their facility to twice its original size. This plant combines raw potato storage with potato processing & bagging with final product storage. Alsum's needed a controls product to automate storage temperatures with their process equipment and save money on energy.
